About Me

As a freelancer who’s been working in the Media Industry for the past 23 years I’ve worked across Broadcast, Corporates, Branded Content, Charity and Education.

Cutting my teeth Co-Ordinating in BBC Drama, then moving to Researcher and AP across Factual and Lifestyle on programmes such as ‘Pet Rescue’ and ‘Lion Country’, ‘A Bit of Posh?’, ‘Panorama’, I went on to Produce on the ‘Designs On Your ..’ series to ’Location, Location, Location’. Deciding to start a family meant changing my focus and I moved onto a fantastic project with BBC Learning about Engineering before my best production yet Thomas, now 7!

From there I was lucky enough to continue working in Production part time, pretty unheard of! I worked for Charities, small Corporates and LEA’s making short films about Children in Care, Bullying, Apprenticeships, and Adult Education for clients from Wandsworth Council to Tomorrow’s People to Career Ready, which I loved.

I still have a passion for Broadcast TV and Film but working in Corporate/Branded Content/ Online/Education gave me more flexibility when I needed it. Plus it gave me opportunity to learn about and understand how to combine graphics and fx, animation, different cameras and styles of filming within films, and gave me masses of edit experience, it’s fantastic.

At the end of the day, all these areas are still bound by a common thread, storytelling. If you can communicate your message and create a story in an effective, compelling and visually interesting way, then you’ve won.

I’m incredibly lucky to do a job I love and work with such great talent; I know CottonOn can deliver the film you need.
